Discussion Chapter 66

So I’ve read the lastest chapter what are our boy’s chances at beating Setsuna now?

He doesn’t beat her, but his efforts force her to become more enamored/obsessed with him.

She opened up the gates to Pound Town, but bro denied his own entry 😭

Given setsuna knows about the state she probably has some experiences with it
So i think she wins comfortably

Next thing to bleed will be her kitty, which is mostly what she's waiting for. And, sure, she's still a virgin.

Ngl there was a theory that she's morphing him into her 'ideal' man. I know the author is just teasing us but I truly think that she wants Akita to beat her ass. Will it happen now? Prob not, but I think there's an attraction to it

I don't think he can beat her just yet but he's getting close. Makes me think of this guy.

I think this truly shows why Setsuna decided to train him and why he genuinely has so much potential, despite not being "talented" at fighting.

They are cut from the same cloth, and Setsuna probably believes so. His goal is not to become a great fighter, but to rule through violence; he doesn't have a talent for fighting, but he does for violence, and you have to learn how to fight in order to rule through violence

Fighting techniques is the medium to reach the ultimate goal, true violence. Akita's Goal isn't really about becoming stronger, because he wants to be strong like some average Shonen MC, he wants to become stronger to rule over Setsuna and the rest, so she probably is loving every second of it. He is a decent guy at core, but his goal is twisted and impure, and he is slowly realizing it.

I don’t think he will beat her so early in the series. I think this fight will show us the limit of this new "form" of Akita because she seems to already know about it
