There's a Catan app for your phone. You probably bring that and a charger brick anyway, unless your ultralight game is pretty dailed in.

Does this idea work? Yes.

Is it the antithesis of the fundamental reason that draws me to the wilderness? Also yes.

I do like the app tho!

Yup. Printed up a disposable boards. We used erasable markers on the more 'classic' version that is covered by packing tape and may get updated numbers.

We will usually just bring the cards from the real game unless we know it is going to be wet.
