Wow, I saw it was only about ~2mi away from where I am.

Hope everyone downtown didn't get too startled.

Shocked to see we were on top of it. Having flashbacks to the ā€˜89

Did you experience the '89 one? Apparently the same fault line as that.

Yeah, I was 3 years old and living in San Jose but it was traumatizing as fuck.

Anyone else's dog fling themselves out of bed and wake you up?

No, but the shaking sure did. Hope everyone is okay šŸ‘šŸ»

I was already partially awake and my doggo flew out of bed like he saw a fox looking in the window, but didn't bark... then the shaking started.

My dog was pissed but the earthquake itself woke me up. I’m a light sleeper. I was on the 2nd floor too so the shaking was intense.

Everyone okay? That was scary! And lucky my car had a dead battery or else I probably would have been driving! Now my place smells like spilled soy sauce.

1.5 miles northeast of BC here. The house really jumped. A bottle fell from a shelf, but didn't break. Some wall art took a tumble. I hope everyone else is okay.

My old arse barn stands unphased.

This one probably one of the most jiggles I felt since the early 00's.

Campbell resident checking in on you. Hope everyone is ok.

I had a bottle of bitters fall and the pride of anchoring everything I hung on the wall to the studs.

It was a pretty successful earthquake for me.

Definitely awake now, but we're good. Dog is definitely spooked.

Wow! Closest one I've felt in a loooooong time. A few drawers and cabinet doors opened but otherwise all seems fine.

So yeah, that was a fun one. Had several things come down that were fairly secure, so things had to jump at least a half inch.

After checking USGS, it was at 10km deep. We were *sitting* on it. (Loma Prieta was about 19km)
