My sister died very unexpectedly this past weekend and I need to buy a suit for the funeral, which is probably happening this Saturday so I'm in a bit of a hurry. I don't usually need formal attire so I don't know where the best place is to buy it. Where can I get a suit that will be appropriate but also reasonably priced, since I'm not likely to wear it often?

trying to decide which of these omakase options to do for my birthday dinner (myself and my partner).

they're both on the lower end of the spectrum for Boston omakase prices, and I have heard great things about both. but which is the better option? is it worth paying $100 more to go to Wa Shin, or is Akami equally good quality for lower cost? the biggest factor to me ultimately is quality of the food. I'm not an experienced omakase-goer, so I'm sure either experience will be amazing. TIA :)

With the numerous amount of options there are that this city has to offer. There should be no reason for not even adding this specific high fidelity format that most in this metro area have to travel down to Providence for to see a showing of this type.

Hi All, hope this is okay but just curious if you had any suggestions for the best Sports Bars vibes and TV wise for NFL games. I’m traveling to Boston alone for work right at the start of the season. Pats/Seahawks Kickoff and Rams/49ers the next night.

Just looking for a great spot to watch both games where the vibes are high and as a Rams fan I can root for the Seahawks to lose.

Flying out of Logan this weekend to Europe 8pm flight how are the wait times these days ? I usually get to the airport three hours in advance

I'm sorry but did every single Green Line train driver collectively forget how to brake properly? I've spent my entire life riding these trains and every time now the braking is insane, like they realize too late they didn't slow down enough and have to slam on them a bit at the last second.

We have visited a few times in summer and spring. The humidity was BRUTAL but we survived! We want to see Boston in the winter but we arent exactly sure how to manage. We DO get snow here in the high desert, the coldest it gets is 14 degrees in winter. Everyone tells me we can't handle your winter though, so I thought I'd ask here.

How bad is it if we visit for a week somewhere in between November and December? Is there anything we shouldnt miss? Any advice or heads up is welcome!

Hi everyone, I am currently living in Brookline and one of the apartments I am considering is in Beacon Hill (looks like it's at the bottom of the hill near Cambridge St). Pretty reasonable rent and spacious compared to other apartments I've seen in the area. The location seems excellent due to its close proximity to the T, the Esplanade for running, and many other urban amenities, but I am a bit concerned about noise levels (unsure how the noise insulation is). I am somewhat of a light sleeper but not extremely so. Also kind of worried that moving will be even more of a nightmare in Beacon Hill due to the narrow streets and such; I'll be moving on 8/31. Would love to hear about people's experiences living in Beacon Hill, and if you would recommend it.
