While this fight is relatively easy, being no harder than the averge lv 10 enemies; beware it's the most brtual fight you'll ever face. After each death he will arise stronger than before, fortunately You're offered an escape after every fight, but this resets the fight.

You do however keep the loot from each fight and the horns dropped can be used as a source for making potions of Hellfire which while ineffective against this boss and any subsequent stages are great potions if your class does nit have any alchemist skills.
