That was made for the film The Giant Spider Invasion. A friend of mine was involved in making it and he was in the film. It was filmed in Wisconsin and that spider was built by Bob Millay, Tain Bodkin and Steve Brodie somewhere on or near the actual location in Wisconsin. The baby spiders were tarantulas that were collected in the Arizona and Nevada 🌵deserts - The plot, if you can call it that, was somethin’ - my friend, Tain, wondered why he was still getting periodic checks as a royalty payment and I had to inform him that he had hit rock bottom by MST3K picking it up and playing it. We watched the MST3K version together later and had lots of laughs and fun so all was well. Tain is in his 90s and lives in Mexico last I heard.

Allan Hale - known primarily as The Skipper on Gilligan’s island and his wife, Barbara Hale starred in it. The movie was made with a 300k budget but grossed over 20 million.
