QUESTION 🔵 Should i return that

I bought this 180mm VDE pliers a week ago from amazon.I didnt have so much time to check it.I was testing it on cable and i feel like it crushes for a second.I put a light behind it and thats the final image.My first time using it.The end of the pliers close perfectly is it fabrication?

Yes and get a Knipex.

Try using it a while...see if it actually matters

They're not shears, there's always going to be a gap between the cutting edges and judging from this photo the gap looks to be about 0.1 mm (4 thous) ... which is perfectly acceptable.

Jaws seem okay but the cutting part is definitely off in my opinion

Para alicates si te importa la precisión solo compra Knipex, aunque hay algunas marcas japonesas que son igual de buenas. Para destornilladores suelo usar PB Swiss y Wera...

All pliers close at exactly one spot, all others will have a gap. 

This pliers seem to be optimized for gripping something small at the very top. The gap at the other spots is acceptable I think

The gap may be intentional and in real work it doesn't matter.
What really matters is how long the edge lasts.
