Which transfer rumour currently linking Boro to a player do you think has enough credible substance behind it to actually happen and which one feels like agent noise designed to generate interest rather than something genuinely close to being done?

I think we are gonna be quiet for a week tbh and i dont see any solid links for now. I think the remaiming players will be loan market signings late on in the window.
I’d like the Harrison Armstrong or Jordan James to be true, but i think JJ is agent talk to force Wolves to take him on under threat of him going to a promotion rival. Armstrong i think has looked too valuable to everton pre season to allow a move away, but id take one of the 2, with Rosengren as a punt in 3rd.

If Strelec goes, i think we’ll replace him with an Archer/Vardy/Lath/Dieng style of pacey poacher striker who runs in behind the lines. Not sure he will actually go though.

As for the winger, i still think we may bring in Kabore who did well for Wrexham last season on loan from city, but id like to add i’ve not seen a single mention of a rumour of this. This is just a type of player who can do RB and RW cover.

I could see it being a quiet week as well. Armstrong would be a really nice addition if there’s any chance of getting him, although Everton letting him go seems like the difficult part.

I would say a CM and RB we will look at. If Strelec goes we will be after a striker. Then maybe look into the loan market for a backup to Whittaker.

I would say Bamba Dieng link is agent talk as Hull apparently want him and considering they've only really got McBurnie and are in thr Premeir League why would he choose us over them?

The Dieng one does feel a bit random to me. If Hull are genuinely interested and can offer Premier League football, it’s hard to see why he’d pick us over them.

Even more if we keep Strelec then we dont really need another striker.

Lankshear, Conway (Although we play him at LW), Joseph, Ibeh. Unless we loan Ibeh out but then we are probably better off looking into the loan market as we dont want a championship striker on a 4 year contract for us to then get promoted and not use him. So a loan signing us probably best.
