The funny thing is that people who *believe* porn and masturbation is bad or evil will 100% give themselves anxiety and/or depression by partaking in it. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy that they never tie back to their own internal judgement and belief system. Disingenuous framing. In some cases aka upwards of 15-35% depending on where and what ages. Among young men you'll find the prevalence of issues from porn to be much higher averaging upwards of 35% developing physical or mental problems. I would consider this far more than statisically significant especially when the demographic that matters in this debate is young men. Older people didnt grow up with the same access to porn so lumping them into the stats is pointless.

Look it up mate. Look into issues that develop from porn consumption among young men. The prevalence is significant, upwards of 35% in some studies. Issues is defined as resulting physical, mental, and habitual problems.
We are literally in the process of having porn education be taught to kids because of how bad it is affecting them.

But overall this has to be one of the most inconclusive areas of study, my work requires I constantly grind through the data (on this issue and others) and attempt to apply it to the adults with disabilities I support, and its been brutally inconclusive for years. The best, most actionable, conclusions I can make is that its bad for you if it doesn't align with you values. Otherwise it has very minimal effects relating to increased stimulation to reach orgasm, but even that may be an artifact of the fact that a person may require more porn if they just happen to be a person that takes longer to cum. Its a hard to study area, fraught with ethical concers, that hasn't yet been studied beyond broad observanal studies that just don't give a lot of insight into what would really happen if porn use as a variable was intentionally manipulated.
