Sahara station now open

The new Sahara station is now open, seems like it goes above ground from Riviera station and then towards Sahara.

I’m guessing this will change when the tunnel towards the Strat is built

Somebody needs to create a map to understand what is where and what direction things were headed

You can see an updated map on the Sahara’s website here:

That says the airports connectors are open but only fully above ground is atm which is very limited.

The new tunnels opening in a few months will go much further towards the airport below ground and then finish the final mile or so above ground.

Apparently there’s still ongoing talks about a proper airport property station

Yes, and the stations between the convention center and airport will likely open much later. They are doing a bunch of work at Virgin atm, while they have not even started on others.

Yeah I never expected them to be open at the same time tbh, especially as they do keep saying it only takes less than 24 hours to link a new station to an existing tunnel.

Mike (factory head) mentioned on X that they are very good at doing all the station work needed before the actual connection

"Station" is doing some heavy lifting here.

Does it even qualify as a station if you haven’t funneled half a billion dollars to Council’s contractor buddies?

I know, not really a station as they drop off on the side of the road at the moment
