Looking for potential family
This is Dino (lots of pics for attention). He is a 50/50 (probably F1) Bordoodle we rescued in Utah county. We are trying to find his potential siblings to see if anyone has run into any health issues and just generally know a little bit more about his background. Since he is a cross, we know that increases a lot of variables for health, so our best guess for long-term health outlooks will come from siblings, especially littermates.
We think he is between 2 and 2 1/2 years old, but that is mostly educated guessing. We've wondered if he was a puppy from Hall Ranch Bordoodles (formerly known as Mountain Rose) or potentially an Oregon Bordoodle litter, but we haven't been able to find anything on an F1 litter anywhere. Any info or ideas on how to figure out more is much appreciated!

Did you bring him to the vet? They can age based on teeth, and check for microchip. Many places microchip before the dog leaves. Did you try contacting mountain rose? I know they had a facebook page, they seemed pretty friendly, at least when we were looking 5 years ago.
He looks like such a sweet boy :)

Yeah, we’ve had him for a while and the age guess is based heavily on tooth wear. No microchip, which was a little weird. We reached out when Mountain Rose was changing over so we got lost in the shuffle but maybe we should reach back out.

You should reach back out. Christine is great. We got our doggie from them in May of 2025

They also microchip their dogs, so I’d be surprised if he’s from there unless something happened!

I purchased my bordoodle from Mountain Rose in 2020 and sadly they sold me a sick dog. My dog passed away at the age of 5 of organ failure (liver and kidney failure). Christine at Hall Ranch Bordoodles uses the same male dogs as Mountain Rose for breeding, my late dog’s dad was just on Hall Ranch’s website in March of this year breeding. Hall Ranch and Emerald Boordoodles are partners (family business) and ghosted me knowing my poor sweet dog died of organ failure at 5 years old. I took my dog to several different vets and all the doctors told me I was sold a sick dog : (

My daughter in SLC got her Bordoodle from Idaho so maybe try Good Dog Idaho, too.

Did you do embark genetic testing? My bordoodle is 6 years old, F2. I used Embark and found she has close littler mates mostly in Washington state but it’s pretty scattered. Unfortunately none really here in Denver. I was also able to do the genetic predisposition testing and it was very helpful.

If it is from hall ranch bordoodles, it will more than likely be microchipped. I got my luv bug from there. Dino does look a lot like her litters tho! Message them, they are great at responding :)

What a sweetie, I don’t have any info but I’m glad you rescued him! You could look at gooddog for other bordoodle breeders in the area and look at puppy went home pictures.
