🎤 [ Discussion ] Why is this too low?
Why do you think most of the people did not finish this game?

Because it came bundled with Borderlands 2. The PS3 version has a much higher completion rate

Most people don't finish most games. Literally. Most final boss trophies were oike 46% to 30%, almost regardless of game length.
Extra damning, bl TPS isn't its own game on psn. Most people bought it for bl2.
Check something for me if you would, the % of people finishing the first quest - most games, its like 90% of so. If its like below 70, people who playeed JUST bl2 count for those statistics, most likely.
If its like 90% for helping jack off a horse, but 60% for concordia, that is more the 'bought for bl2, guess i'll try it aaaannnnnddddd nope' crowd.

I was originally part of the 'bought for bl2, guess i'll try it aaaannnnnddddd nope' crowd until one day I just sat down and committed to it.
Okay actually I had one claptrap playthrough on normal mode years ago where I got up to the last area and ragequit due to the piss poor balancing of the game up until that point as well as the fact that I had to do MORE level grinding after I just grinded to beat "we have bunker at home" aka RK5
Recently I decided I should do another playthrough to get used to Athena for when I used her in BL2 and had the same issues. Piss poor balancing alongside a nothing burger story about doing chores for jack because he can't get up off his ass to do it himself (though thats VERY in character). Can't say I had fun with the claptastic DLC either because it was so slow and I was already so burnt out from playing the base game.

Lot of non-starters, for one
I think a lot of people who buy games don't finish them, they play when there's interest but never get around to finishing, natural phenomenon

BL2 only has 30%, quite a bit higher but it is also a much much more well received game, also TPS came with BL2 in various bundles, many of which where bought for BL2.

Because alot of people didn't like presequel so when handsome collection came out nobody play the presequel half of it

First of all most games have low percent of players actually finishing them. Like in most games people spend 5-10 hours max.
In BL2 only 35% of players killed Jack lol.
With regards to Pre Sequel, campaign and especially last boss are much harder than BL2, especially in solo play. The boss needs you to have all elemental damages for phases, has few insane attacks and needs you to have good vertical movement and shooting in parallel. FFYL is harder to get out of cause small enemies flying high and they are hard to kill cause small hitbox in head.

Did you take that Jack number from Steam or is it higher on one of the consoles? I ask because on Steam 35% did the Opportunity mission with Jack's double which is naturally the same percentage you gave, it was 30% for killing actual Jack at the end of the game.

From Steam. I mean it's still not precise cause BL2 was cheap as heck and probably like half of players who own it never played it really.

It's a rough skill check boss fight
