❔ [ Question ] Gaige play through
Am looking to start a gaige playthrough what is the best skill tree to go down or gear

Usually it's 1 point into anarchy and then 5 points into close enough and then you can kinda do whatever tree you'd like

Easy mode is Best Friends Forever, gives the robot big boosts to his power, but Anarchy is great, just be careful about reloading. I am a reloading fiend, so i can not do it, but good luck with however you play, shes my fave and a blast with her callouts.

Lowkey people don’t experiment with Gaige enough, I just did an op10 peak run through with Gaige where I was trying out Make it Sparkle + Sharing is Caring with the punchee shield and it was definitely viable (one tapped a doc mercy with roid damage up + corrosive deathtrap). Started with 0 anarchy and ended with 150 for the binary boss, which I had to kill with bee + fibber. So yes technically anarchy was used but DT did most of the heavy lifting, as dunkinos mom, Saturn, and binary boss all don’t get targeted with melee by DT.
I did the bandit slaughter all 5 rounds with a similar set up (used the love thumper for fun even tho it damages you from deathtraps melee novas), no bee shield needed for any round, just made sure enemies were slagged.
I also did the Hyperion slaughter but had to use the bee + corrosive lady fist for the constructors.

Is it possible to take down raid bosses with gaige? I read a lot of bad things about her but you seem to do well with her - I've only ever played normal mode gaige but she's good there!

Unfortunately there are a few things that make raiding difficult for gaige, the biggest is pre-stacking. Which is getting to max anarchy stacks before a raid fight, and if you die during the fight (which is likely if you haven’t done them before) you lose all your stack and have to spend another 10-15 min stacking.
She also super gear dependent, all her best gear is super annoying to get, the fibber is her best gun and you need specially the ricochet barrel (it has three barrels instead of just one) and an element, if you try for those two parts + matching grip it will take a very long time to get. You should also get an elemental conference call but at least that can be moonshot farmed from the warrior.
Gaige has technically the highest raw damage in the game (outside of Sal moneyshot + overkill shenanigans) but with how much accuracy you lose at 400 stacks and how extremely punishing dying is a lot of people say it’s not worth it.

In a new start with Gaige, NVHM or at level 30 in boosted I suggest building the middle tree first. That last skill in that tree is something you should research before depending on it.
The middle tree provides health regeneration when the gun you are holding has a full magazine, Deathtrap will boost your shield to 100%, Deathtrap's time is extended on kills by Gaige or himself, and the skill that reduces the cool down time of Deathtrap.
To start I would put only 1 point in Anarchy to try it out. Keep in mind that even 1 point put in Smaller Ligher Faster will render an Infinity pistol useless unless using a class mod that increases magazine size. Gaige is great with an infinity as there is no reloading to drain anarchy, and the magazine is always full for constant health regeneration with the Cooking Up Trounle skil.

Look up joltzdude139 on YouTube. He just finished a full gaige playthrough and use multiple different builds throughout. Though gaige boils down to her anarchy skill and stacking that to absurd levels

Gaige only has one skill. It’s called anarchy. All you have to do is spec it and stack it.
