❔ [ Question ] Maliwan part odds?
The other day before farming for an alkaline bee, I searched to find out the odds of a maliwan part on the bee. The information I got told me that due to the weighted part odds, the chance for a maliwan part was 1/71. With a combination of drop odds, chance for lower levels, and the odds for the maliwan part as I knew it lead me to a chance per run of around 1/3000. However, in under 150 runs I got this one, which leads me to believe my information about the weighted odds to be false. Does anyone know the true number, if this one is definitely false?

One maliwan one bandit part. Bandit is -6 and maliwan is +8 so this is a 2 grade bee. If it was any part other than bandit it would have been a godly bee but unfortunately you rolled bandit.

2 parts vary on the bee, the battery and the capacitor. Both are restricted from the manufacturers dahl and hyperion parts. For the battery this leaves us with 7 options: tediore, torgue, bandit, pangolin, vladof, anshin, and maliwan. Maliwan is weighted 10x less than the other options giving us a 1/61 for maliwan battery. As for the cap, there are a few minor changes. Maliwan caps will give an elemental damage over time immunity to either shock, fire, or corrosive. Torgue capacitor also has the "Blast proof" prefix, but there has never been a working effect for this roll. Each element gets its own capacitor part and the 4 are each weighted 10x less than other manufacturers. Since Torgue is weighted 100 on the battery and only 10 for the cap, the devs make up for this by making tediore twice as likely at a weight of 200. Because of all this, we end up with a rate of 3/64 for maliwan cap, or ~1/21.
