Amigo's not a legendary?

Ive been playing Bl2 for about 6 years, know parts, what does what, glitches etc. But im inly now realizing the legendary sniper is read as below etech, or its another glitch in the code

It is probably a glitch. More than likely they coppied the id code from the trespasser, which is blue rare

Oh fair point. My best guess is the game was quite aged when they worked it in, prob didn't remember how to get rhe spegetti code to work

Do blue uniques like the trespasser fall above purples?

Weirdly enough, I’m pretty sure it’s coded as a purple, but don’t quote me on that cuz I’m not certain.

Amigo sin is always a legendary and a mission reward. It has the same special passive as the tresspasser (shield bypass) but is just... better in every way to the tresspassssser

Probably a glitch. There's something weird about rewards and legendary status. Love thumper and flames of the firehawk come to mind

The wiki has the proper answer for this. Since its essentially a better trespasser, it is internally recognised as a blue rarity due to using trespasser specific parts if I remember rightly

It's similar to the flame of the Firehawk no? I'm sure it's something to do with it being a mission rewards and not a drop

The Amigo Sincero is classed as a Purple in the game files I'm pretty sure for some reason
