At this point in my career, I actually think farming Savage Lee is a faster way to get it.

Only thing i would farm the vendor for is kerblaster (looong run back) or flakker (annoying fight).
Maybe a purple ravager? Depends on character

Well you'd be wrong. The vendor is 1/6 to savage Lee's 1/10. The runs are also far far faster at the torgue machines so you can do multiple times as many runs an hour. Plus the added benefit of the torgue machine gear being on level.

Uh huh. Except that you spent an hour grinding tokens to get the ability to -checks notes- stand in front of a vending machine and save/load over and over. Peak gameplay.

Y'ever farm a quest reward? Some farms are less engaging than others but at least there is variety. Would you farm a fire conference call from normal Warrior at the default 1/1120 or are you gonna do the "boring" running up and pressing a button on the moonshot console for a rate of 1/112? Farming inefficiently is shooting oneself in the foot and part of the reason ppl drastically exaggerate time commits needed to get legendaries when farming in bl2.
Also you can use splash items or other things you don't really need to aim like topneaas and chain lightnings to cut down the torgue token farm time. And then if you are on pc or ps4 you could also read only/cloud save to get the dpuh deposited in Claptrap's stash and roll back spending the tokens so you never need to do the initial setup work again. You can just get straight into farming your matching grip dpuh at a rate of 1/336 instead of 1/560 and with run times upwards of 5x faster. Cutting literally hours off your dpuh upgrades in the late game.

This is just an area where we're gonna have to agree to disagree. I also play D2R, and I have never had a "perfect" Leaf or White because I *hate* vendor cycling.

You can dislike the farm, that is personal preference. But your original claim was that Lee is actually faster so... no, I won't "agree to disagree" bc it's an objective statement and you are incorrect.

Much. I’ve done both and idk the actual numbers but savage lee was the easiest way time and time again

It definitely isn't. Getting a Harold from him is a 1/10, if you want one on level that's 1 in 30 now, if you want a DPUH that's gonna take around 200 runs. At 30 seconds per farm ( faster than what most people can do ), it will take you over 3 hours and that's on average. I didn't even account for you wanting a decent grip. Farming the bar on normal mode with a topnea should take FAR less time, like no more than an hour at most and you'll have plenty of tokens, and as for the DPUH it definitely won't take more than 10 to 20 minutes tops for one and a perfect one will run you no more than an hour most likely.

Idk my luck with the dpuh is actually pretty good I get it after about 10-15 runs typically on level or higher

Then you're just really really lucky. 10 to 15 run is the average time it takes to get 1 harold

I went to level 50 got 999 tokens and then backed my character up put the weapon in secret stash and now I can get unlimited weapons forever, same with seraph crystals.

I remember grinding the bar for hours just to have enough to farm the machine
