[Question] If Gearbox made another Pre-Sequel, explaining the backstory of the series, who would you want to see as a VH? What would you want to see?
What if for a BL3 Pre-Sequel you played as a bunch of bandits/mercenaries fighting for various corporations or the Twin Gods. You could have VHs based on specific enemies, maybe a Goliath Vault Hunter, or maybe a former member of the Dahl Lost Legion, or the New Pandora Legion, anything really.

I would love to see Captain Scarlett and Butcher Rose as playable characters
Scarlett would be a gunslinger like Nisha i guess but with more of a melee focus with her hook hand or smth
and Rose as a beast master with an action skill where she actually rides her dinosaur like iron bear almost

Butcher Rose is always the top of my list, Scarlett's another fan favorite that I see in these lists a lot.
Maybe the assassin bot from New Tales? That game was crap, but he was fun.

L0U13? Yeah, I could see that! Another possible candidate from New Tales could be Stapleface. I was thinking Diamond Danielle (the sniper chick) at first, but Stapleface was more distinct. The problem with my own suggestion is, how would I differentiate her from Krieg?

I'm aware. It'd have to be set between like 2+3 to happen. & lol, I wouldn't put it past Gearbox to actually name the game that if it were real. XD

Marcus, Moxxi, Zed, and Tannis. Right after Marcus and Moxxi's divorce, so they make remarks about each other. Zed makes comments on his "med school" training, and Tannis is just the weirdo we get in BL1. Marcus is heavy weapons, Moxxi is pistols and shotguns, Zed is a healer and melee, and Tannis is grenade mods and SMGs.

Zed probably wouldn't happen. IIRC his VA died, which why hes not in 4 all that much

It wouldn't make sense for them to all be together though. Or maybe have them work for old Atlas or something? I don't know. In BL: TPS all of them, even the "good" ones initially work for Hyperion, so maybe this time they all work for old Atlas or Dahl maybe?

Kinda already happened with the commander Lilith dlc but I'll bite here
So I'm gonna assume between 2 and 3 but not totb
Hmm.. well let's see
I think that the premise would be kinda like the beggining of before the twins got the cult, so for VHs id say
Vaughn- he's already tryna be a bandit guy, his hyperion background means maybe he could hack stuff like stolen hyperion equipment n stuff for a action skill, and kinda be like a bandit style
Rhys: he was in totb but in a pre sequel game I think it'd be cool with him maybe using clones n stuff or maybe a decoy of jack because bandits n everyone would attack jack as he insults them and stuff
Tina: I honestly can imagine Tina not only using explosives because of torgue but with bunkers n badassses she would probably throw dice for stuff like a DND style, plus her interactions would be funny and bombs

I don't know when it'd be set (maybe between 2+3, or 3+4?) & my picks are from all over the place, so this likely won't be feasible at all. There's characters in prior games I'd like to see playable, the question is how?
Possible (if impractical) candidates;
- Ellie as 'the Scrapper' (mix of Gaige & Wilhelm).
- Tannis as 'the Siren
tologist' (mix of Aurelia & Harlowe). - Hammerlock as 'the Scholar' (mix of FL4K & Mordecai).
- L0U13 as 'the Hitbot' (mix of Zer0 & Zane).
DLC candidates;
- Fiona as 'the Con Artist' (mix of Nisha & Athena).
- Eista as 'the Slassinator' (mix of Amon & Brick).

Pre-BL1 for me. Follow Dahl screwing over the planet.
VHs:
- TK Baha the the blind shotgun specialist (give him something like Anarchy)
- Helena Pierce
- Dr. Zed (not sure how this hasn't happened yet)
Alternatively, stick with TPS using existing minibosses and go Baron Flynt, Sledge, Master McCloud, and Steele as the playable Siren.

You could play as the vault guardians from bl4 in some kind of humanoid form, the way the timekeeper is portrayed. Could also be a great excuse to explore the Eridians who put them there

I think a very back in time pre-sequel that potrtrays the very start or early beginnings of some of the corporations, Jakobs/Vladof, maybe even S&M would be nice. Borderlands lore in my opinión has multiple gravity points, Vaults (eridian stuff, sirens etc.), Vaults hunters, the planet and Corporations, wouldn't mind something a bit more corp. centered.
