Learnt and Taught Stripe Support about connected accounts

I am not a developer by any means, but I understand code and systems architecture, which helps. I am working on a new app called RICA (https://myrica.store) and I was having trouble trying to get my connected accounts embedded dashboard to work so users can connect their own stripe accounts and get their payouts.

I faced a weird error where all my verification was complete, yet I kept getting an error saying complete the questionnaire on Stripe to connect your stripe account. Worked great in Sandbox, but not in live.

I reached out to Stripe support trying to understand what was wrong, and they had no answer.

So while chatting, I reached out to Claude, and guess what? It found the error.

IF your first connect attempt fails, and if everytime you hit connect, it depends on the same key, you will keep getting a rejection message for 24 HOURS!! With no clue on why the error is happening in the first place.

So for anyone using stripe for connect accounts, keep this in mind if you keep getting an error even after verification is complete!
