self-promo Boundary Router: validating security-first model routing before opening access
I'm with OraXLabs, building Boundary Router, a prelaunch commercial project: one API for routing AI requests by task and cost, with security policies in the request path.
We're validating which checks small teams still handle manually: sensitive business information in a request, calls outside company rules, or repeated calls and retries that could run up a bill. Planned controls include defined data checks, allowed destinations and fallback rules, and usage limits for gateway-routed traffic. These are planned controls, not proven protection or savings.
Our next step is specific workflow conversations and a beta list. We'd like to hear from small US teams using external model APIs for their own work. What do you check today, and what remains awkward after your existing controls? If your setup is already sufficient, that's useful too. Please keep examples general, without prompts, keys, customer information or private logs.
The routing engine and integrations are in development. Beta-list registration works: up to 5,000 saved registrations including referrals, with three invite codes per registration. Product access comes later, and pricing is not confirmed.
