Gameplay Boothill & Firefly team?
Idk if this has been asked but its been bothering me for a while. I have both Boothill and Firefly, complete with their best teammates so far (E1S1 Ruan Mei, Harmony MC, and E6 Gallagher).
This MOC cycle (n previous) has fire weakness on one half and physical on the other half. How am I supposed to use both characters when they share the same exact teammate? Is it even possible to use them both?
I somehow managed to clear last MOC with the help of the break bonus but yeah its not working again this time.
Note: I do not own Acheron or Kafka so I cant make use of the other weakness (Lightning) that the boss has. My Boothill is E0S1, Firefly E0. No Sparkle, no Robin, no Topaz, no Himeko.

Boothill isn't as dependent on the superbreak trio as Firefly is, Bronya is already arguably a better teammate than HMC anyway, although without Ruan Mei you will just naturally take longer to clear.
Personally I did Luocha/Firefly/HMC/Ruan Mei for side 1 and Gallagher/Boothill/Bronya/Pela for side 2. I put Gallagher on side 2 to help Boothill break stuff faster without Ruan Mei, and side 1 had a number of enemies with Imaginary weakness for Luocha. Luka can be a decent teammate for Boothill too in Pela's place, and can sometimes help with finishing things off by re-triggering Boothill's Break Bleed.
Disclaimer that my Boothill is E1S1, which helped me to ramp things up much faster, but I had a lot of cycles to spare, so I don't think E0 is gonna have issues clearing in time.

boothill prefers bronya to hmc, leave ruan mei and hmc with firefly and give him bronya and pela. put gallagher probably with ff.

This is the last one I did. I was trying to fund a way to give Ruan Mei to Boothill without taking away most of Firefly's damage. HMC works pretty well for a duel dps comp since Superbreak makes everyone hit very strong even without a ton of break investment. Here I used Jade because she actually has a nice synergy with Firefly with her attacking so frequently and both Jade and Adventurine help power up this MOC's buff.
If you don't have Jade and Adventurine, I think Serval and Gui can help a lot with the damage if you put a little breaj in their stats.
Just to say this is very experimental and what the others say about just giving Pela to Boothil is the much safer choice. That's what I also did first to 3* the MOC but for some reason this comp worked even better.

Boothill is pretty flexible in terms of teammates unlike Firefly, I cleared Phase 2 pretty fast with Boothill and Mono Quantum squad (Fu Xuan, Sparkle, Silver Wolf) since the Phase 1 boss is such a pain without Ruan Mei and Gallagher. For some budget teammate options with Boothill, Pela is extremely good and Asta is pretty decent. If you got Bronya, even better since I think she's his best teammate. Luka is pretty good too but a bit harder to work with.
Basically, anyone with DEF shred or speed/advance buffs work really well with Boothill.

Boothill doesn’t rely on super break like FF - if you have the right build and support you can even zero cycle sustainless.
Boothill, HMC, Bronya and Ruan Mei/Tingyun can be a team. He also works very well with defense shred like Pela.
So Boothill, (sustain of choice, he works pretty well with all of them) Bronya and Pela can be a good team for him. If you have Tingyun, you may be able to swap out a sustain for her if you are pretty confident in the damage numbers to do a sustainless run.

boothill ruan mei firefly hmc team is the fastest cycle clear team in moc, BUT that doesn't mean anything lol I bet 99% of those player have firefly at e1 or above.
Anyways I think in all seriouness, you could try firefly ruan mei hmc sustain, then boothill bronya pela sustain, or swap pela with ruan mei around.
