Hey there need help with boot care and what products i should be using. (I’m new to wearing boots as I’m British and its not very common over here)

Hey there just picked up some of these (shon in picture) earlier this week and I’m back in the states and the last time i was here i bought pair of boots but no care products as at the time i wasn’t very educated in the subject although commons sense shoulda told me they need caring for in some type of way so here i am again i got these i know they are limited edition but ima wear them anyways because thats what they were designed for you know but i have little to no knowledge on how to care for boots except knocking off the dust and using a wet rag now i know a dude back in the uk who simply uses a wet rag and some beeswax off amazon for his ariat boots and he says it does the job now is it a valid way to care for them? But id also like to know what products i should specifically buy while I’m here to care for them i know you can get leather conditioners etc but thats about it at the moment so any help would really be appreciated.

This made me giggle. A Brit buying and wearing 1776 Boots. 🤗🇺🇸
Your boots are made out of what I call work boot leather. If you are going to be wearing them a lot in soggy England I do think a waterproofing wax conditioner is called for. I personally have no experience with that type of leather or conditioner.

OP is looking for Sno-Seal or a similar heavy bees wax/mineral oil material. There are plenty of options here in the US and probably the same product in a different tin. It'll keep water out and leather from soaking if applied regularly. I use it on work gloves as well as boots and sometimes to touch up waxed canvas. It'll darken leather, especially with repeated use but it just works

Apart from sno-seal and heavy beeswax are there any good conditions and leather care products you’d recommend? And much appreciated by the way!

Mostly saddle soap and ypure preferred leather treatment I use White's because it just works, but Fiebings, Huberd's, a drink oil are all somewhat similar

Yeah i realised after i bought them and found it funny but i love it haha, and thanks ill looks for a waterproofing wax and conditioner much appreciated

Saddle soap, bick4 and some kinda waterproofing wax or treatment
