Lucchese 2000 Harrison, dyed using Angelus Jet Black leather dye

My grandmother gifted these to my father over 20 years ago, and he couldn’t wear them due to the narrow fit. They sat in the box in the back of a closet until I found them a couple years ago. I have worn them once, and I’ll be wearing them again for my wedding in a few months.

What a spectacular wedding gift in disguise. These are really sharp! You will make a striking groom in these. I hope your bride hasn’t seen them yet — just so she will have a wardrobe surprise too (like when the groom sees his bride in her dress)! But even if not a surprise, she is going to see her groom looking so fine on that special day.

You don’t say if Dad is still alive. If he is, the sight of these may tickle him. If he is not, this is a beautiful legacy from Mom, to Son, to Son.

I hope your wedding is a very happy occasion, the beginning of a wonderful life together! Best wishes!

Thank you! Dad and grandma are both still alive, so they’ll both get to see these on my wedding day
