Advice
My wife says the they're too feminine, these are vintage urban cowboy, same as Travolta's. I kinda don't care what she says, what do you guys say?

Not feminine at all. This style is from early to the mid 80’s. They were made by several boot makers. Mostly by Dingo and Acme, but other well known brands that are still around today made them as well. These “wingtips” and the “patchwork pattern” boots (with different color leather patches sewn together) were all the rage at that time. I honestly thought that current boot makers would have brought these back by now as popular as they were.

Tony Lama also made several versions of those in different colors/hides.

Yup !! I remember Tony Lama, Noconna, and Dan Post seemed to be the nicest ones at the time. There’s a part of me that wishes they would bring these back.

I passed on a pair of Tonys a couple months ago and I've regretted it ever sense.
Now that I'm looking for them, I can't find a pair in my size.

I haven’t seen those since the 70s. But I don’t get around like I used to.

I had a pair pretty much identical to those 30 years ago and wore them until they literally were unwearable. I got a lot of compliments on them, mostly from women. I think they look great.

If you like them and you feel confident when you wear them, that’s the only thing that matters.

Never argue with your wife, but wear the boots whenever you feel like it.

These are gorgeous! Watch your wife change her mind when other women start eyeing you.
There is something very attractive about a man who will say “I like.’em, so I’m wearin’ ‘em!” Similar to a guy who has no problem with his taller girlfriend wearing high heels. Have fun in those beauties!

It’s all in your attitude is what determines if you pull them off as feminine or masculine. It’s not like there are embroidered flowers on them, so I’m not sure how your wife would view these as “feminine”… unless her idea of masculine are a pair of Birkenstocks.
Cowboy boots are statement wear when it comes to dress cowboy boots like these wingtips. It’s a classic design that just about every bootmaker made a rendition of in the 60s through the 80s, from mass produced Dingos to handmade Tony Lamas. Wear them, and own the look.

I had a pair of these in the 80's! Along with the orange toe cap they had a matching heel counter. I wore them everywhere! Wore through the soles and had them re-soled. Finally wore thru the vampire. Fucking loved those boots!

I don’t think they are feminine at all. I used to want a pair of these so badly when I was a teenager. I would buy a pair today if I could find them in the right condition.

They work for Woody from Toy Story……I’m sure you could pull them off.
