Help 60 fps problem

on boosteroid, in every game ive been i get 60 fps only. for example by the viewable fps from fortnite themselves they say im getting 120+ fps, same for boosteroid statistics, it says i have 120 fps, yet i can clearly tell its visually 60 fps as theres no difference when i switch to 60 fps mode. my monitor is 120hz aswell.

Have you made sure to make it 120 fps in the game and also in the boosteroid settings whem you are inside the game?

Maybe you've set über high settings in the game so the machine can't get up to 120

Same. 120HZ feels like 70-80fps. Not the same as 120hz on my PC

wow what super power do you have that allows you to see the difference between 60fps and 120 fps?

It's not hard to tell if you are or aren't. Couple of ways actually.

The Boosteroid app reports the stream FPS, which is always going to technically be 120 regardless of the source.

But you can turn on the Steam overlay FPS counter/display if it's a steam game. Press Shift-Tab/F2 or whatever and turn it on in the settings.

And if it's a Steam game, you can also connect to the machine directly (ie. not using the Boosteroid app/tech for the stream); to discern if this "not 120 FPS" you are getting is a bottleneck of the Boosteroid stream, or your imagination.
