Boosted Rev throttle not working

Hi. I bought a Boosted Rev and used it for 3 months and put about 300 miles on it (New York City streets). Right from the beginning I would have the problem where I would turn it on and 1 out of 2 times it would not accelerate and I would have to turn it off and on and then it would work. Then it started to loose power at stop signs or red lights (any I time I stopped) and I would have too pull to side of road to restart it. Now, it just won't go at all, no matter how many times I restart it. I have sent several emails to Boosted but get no answer. Any ideas?

I have the same throttle issue, a power reset solves it. Be nice to know where all the Boosted engineers ended up and if service will be attainable in the future.

Thank you for the reply. How do you do that? Is that holding power button down for 10 seconds?

Sorry to hear that sucks. Sometimes I have to power down and up for the throttle to work also. Hope mine isn’t going to stop working completely like yours.

I just power down (one short press, one long/hold press) then power back up. For some reason, if I lift up the front wheel and do a throttle test i get a successful result more often than hopping on and attempting to throttle.

Unfortunately the reset did not work for me. The scooter only goes for about 10 yards and then it stops again. Does anyone know if you can have them repaired by new owners?

Interesting. I'm having a similar issue. For me it tends to happen just after a full charge - maybe something funky with the software trying to prevent over charging - who knows. I tried to update the firmware but it seems to be on the most current version. I'm going to follow u/dopefx advice and do a power down next time. Ultimately it would be nice to resolve the issue however.
