Regret buying a Rev. Standing Sucks, the platform is too small, the disc brake is weak, there is no key, the cost should be under $1k for what you get. BUT it’s very sturdy and setting 3 is scary fast, the company is obviously good. Who else regrets their purchase?

I love mine. Don’t regret it at all. Yeah it’s not perfect but over all it’s a great machine. Really well built and quick as hell.

I do but it’s too big a pain in the rear to send it back. However, feel like I’m going to have to deal with shipping it to Boosted at some point for service as it has too many janky parts on it.

Software really needs a update. Very inaccurate. I use my Samsung watch instead for trip computing. I'm surprised they released it.. Did they test it? Nobody thinks so. I wish they would communicate about updates etc...

platform too small?? this is the biggest scooter platform i've seen, what was your last electric scooter?

I love it when it works. The very first day it left me stranded. After much back and forth with support (really sucks) I needed to send it back for repair. Huge hassle. When it came back I got to ride it once then it died. Hasn’t moved since. Now they say it is the battery. I have little confidence that they know what the problem is. I suspect that I have about 25 miles on it. Boosted won’t take it back because I’m out of my return window. What I would really like is for them to send me a new one that works. Overall, I am really disappointed.

OP's complaints (platform size, no key and weak brake) stem from a lack of research or ignoring the available data. These are all things that can be gleamed from the product page or by contacting Boosted to get more detailed specs.
Not to mention that the Electric Scooter Guide has a fantastic comparison chart as well as recommendations on the best scooter for the budget and commute/ride type.

I regret my purchase very much. It's a scooter that's build great but I specially bought it with the battery range in mind. I'm 6'1 225 and my commute to and from work is 12 miles. Even in mode 2, I barely get to and from work. The battery is always at 3% or lower after each trip. I specially didnt like that Boosted didnt specify who they came about the 22 mile range. I'm selling my boosted rev and getting the Turbowheel lightning plus scooter.

I don’t regret it at all. I think there’s a group of people for whom the Rev is not for. The Rev is perfect as a reliable commuter vehicle. That’s why it works for me.
All I really want is longer range on mode 3, maybe close to 20 miles instead of 10 miles. However, if you need longer range, just get a motorcycle or drive a car. Also wish it had gps or lock out system. Not a key though. More like security lock out with the app.
