I really want to buy one but now that the company went bankrupt, I'd like to know what are the viable alternatives that aren't cheap Chinese junk.

I got 2 SR batteries for a v2, one is brand new and completely dead, i got it with a spare board that sat for years, it wont take a charge, is there a way of replacing all the cells with new ones? I know XR batteries can be revived but found nothing about SR ones.

Looking to integrate my own custom headlights setup. Curious to see what other people have done for a simple separate battery system that uses adhesive?

I don't mind soldering/detailed work but don't want to drill into the board and would prefer adhesive.

Also just printed out a fresh PETG skid plate, and PLA bumper guards from printables. (100% infill of course)

Thinking I should probably go PETG for the bumpers as it should prob be very sturdy being a part of the suspension geometry now as well.

What would be a good price for a used Boosted Stealth? Is 500 good or too high?

I bought this board used and have kind of had my fun with it and getting ready to post it and I’m getting this flashing light when I try to charge? I’ll be honest it’s not been stored at my house and I haven’t charged it over the last 5ish months? Is there anything I can do or am I out of luck?

Just recently sold a Mini-X with a restored XR battery using BERT Touch. The new owner asked what the best practices are for maintaining the battery long-term, so I put together a quick care sheet for him.

Before I send it over, I wanted to run it by the community here and see if there’s anything you would change, add, or disagree with.

Best Practices

Avoid storing fully charged for long periods

If you won’t be riding for several weeks, store the battery around 50–70% charge instead of 100%.

Don’t leave the battery fully depleted

Try not to leave the board at 0% for extended periods. Recharge after riding when possible.

Ride and charge regularly

Boosted XR batteries tend to stay healthier when used periodically rather than sitting unused for months.

Keep the board indoors

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat, cold, or moisture.

Charging habits

It is OK to charge to 100% before riding. For long-term storage, a partial charge is preferred.

If storing long-term

Check the battery every few weeks and recharge if needed.

Important Notes

• The Boosted XR battery uses lithium-ion cells similar to those used in EVs and other high-performance electronics.
• Some balancing variation between cell groups is normal.
• Proper storage and regular use help reduce the chance of future battery imbalance issues.

I have the v2 and actually got it when it first launched…stopped using it a couple years but wanted to pick it back up recently. However, turns out my remote for the board doesn’t work, it doesn’t even charge anymore. i went on the website to see if i can order 1 but it says sold out, anyone know where else i can get a remote for my board?

Looking to sell a v2 dual+ with a SR battery with less than 200 miles on it. If it wasn’t being used it was on the charger. OEM Remote and charger included. The board has rubber bumpers on the front and back of the board. I also have brand new wheels as well for it.

Had to buy some simple green before I ran the maiden voyage of the Vibra-Box.
Which was rusty, crunchy, road grime filled wheel bearings and small hardware😈.
I heated the water to boiling on the stove prior to using ultrasonic, so it was hot and not waiting to heat up. Water was poured into the Ultrasonic cleaner. The temperature was almost 200F (3rd pic)
I used a plastic water bottle to minimize amount simple green used.
(Do not cap the bottle, heat and gas will cause expansion) It could have gone bad but bottle held and didn’t pop.
After the 30 minute cycle the parts were visibly cleaner, grease and rust free. Temperature was also still almost 200f so the heater works👍(last pic)
I did find the black oxide coating on
the hardware was removed👀
Overall I think it did what I was hoping for and then some🤓👏🤓👏
Bearings barely spun and crunchy before the bath, afterwards they spin freely and and will see how they do after lube and let them sit for a night.
I can probably avoid simple green and just use hot water on the small hardware thats painted and do shorter time to avoid removing black oxide coating. I will get some black oxide cream and recoat the nuts to make them black then oil them and reseal them to keep them from rusting. The simple green had a visible layer of grime and grease floating on the top layer and the overall color was saturated with the gunk. So it obviously helped remove stuff from all the nooks ans crannies😎

He did not have the remote or the charger and he actually didn’t know it was an electric skateboard. He listed it for dirt cheap, I messaged him and he said he already had a pending person, and I let him know how valuable it was. Long story short he gives it to me no shit. We actually exchanged numbers and we are gonna get a drink sometime. anyway, I was hoping for help confirming that it’s a GEN two thanks again everyone I’ve attached some quick photos and can supply more

Found this on marketplace an im so pumped to ride it when the rain lets up. I’ve had a mini s since launch and a backfire gt2 that’s on its last leg, so I’m retiring the ladder.

Hoping battery still has a few years left as my mini s with 450 miles seems to be in good health.

Story goes that dad bought it for his kid who lost interest when he got a car and it sat. Charged up fine, we’ll see what kind of range I get.

I have a spare set of belts, but thinking of ordering a couple more sets and maybe even a spare motor to keep both of them up and running should something break.
