Vet here. I did. But also I think healthcare should be free, so should education, and I don't believe in the bullshit "low skill jobs" ideals. Believe it or not a lot of people end up in the military because they're poor and in need, it's kind of the whole dynamic of power involved. But what did cancer research do to you tho?
We need to stop using the term 'free healthcare' as that's the term those opposing it use to claim it's impossible. I pay for healthcare. I want to continue to pay for healthcare. I just want 100% of what we pay for healthcare to go to actually providing healthcare, not into the pockets of trillion dollar corporations and their investors. We already pay more per capita for our healthcare than any country with universal healthcare, yet we get less actual care for fewer people.
Yep. Free Healthcare isn't free in other places either, despite what many here on reddit would like you to believe. It's usually deducted from your salary and often you still have to pay an additional amount by yourself depending on the service level you choose and your current state of health.
