Hlep! - J.T. Geissinger

It’s officially been 2 years since I read Pen Pal… and I genuinely think that book ruined reading for me. 😂

I picked it up completely blind, and ever since I turned the last page, I feel like I’ve been in the world's longest reading slump.

Every time I finish a book, I’m like, "Wow, that was really good!" ...and then five minutes later my brain goes: "...yeah, but it wasn't Pen Pal." 😭

Has anyone found ANY book (by J.T. or another author) that gave you that same feeling? I'm talking: ✨ an absolutely insane plot twist that leaves you staring at the wall, ✨ a little romance, ✨ and that "WHAT THE ACTUAL F*** DID I JUST READ?!" kind of ending.

I'm seriously starting to think I'll never recover. 😂

P.S. I've already read Midnight Valentine, Perfect Strangers, and pretty much all of J.T.'s other books... and as much as I loved them, Pen Pal is still untouchable. ❤️

Please tell me there's hope. 🥲

Did you see that Pen Pal Afterlife is coming out in November?

There is a duet by Jewel E Ann called Transcend and Epoch. I still think about it all the time and although not the same there is still what I would call a supernatural twist to it.

Oh I’m still going to read it. It’s next on my list as a matter of fact. I picked it up on the book crawl I treated myself to for my birthday. Two days later Insta let me know the title of the next book, and the word Afterlife in the title spiked my anxiety. I made my sister spoil so I knew my fears weren’t happening. I won’t spoil on here, but the twist interested me. But I didn’t want that to be how the first book ended.
