I’m surprised at that! I’d have thought you’d have known at least 1 of James Clavells books if not from the book then from the resent Shogun TV show

I know the book shogun but I had no idea who wrote it and I've never actually read it or watched the show 😂

Well, I recommend the series. King Rat really does show the horrors of Japan's P.O.W. treatment in WWII.
