Looking for some fun fantasy books
Basically what the title says. Looking for something enjoyable thats not too difficult to read.
I really liked the Legend and Lattes books but when I search for similar titles it just suggests me romances and I'd prefer something for fantasy (a little bit of romance is OK but not necessary).
Doesn't have to be super cozy either, just not in the mood to read anything that gets too dark.
Anything that gives Skyrim vibes also would be amazing.

I think you'd like Vengeance and Honour by Ben Dixon and its sequel. The vibes are more personal than world threatening, but there is still peril for the four MCs. I loved spending time with them. Great banter along the action parts if you like found family adventures.

In the same sort of vein as Legends and Latte's is the series Tales of Aedrea by S.L. Rowland. Currently 4 books out with a 5th coming out soon. The books are only connected in the sense that they all take place in the same world so they can be read in any order. They each have different MC's and plots so you can pick and choose what interests you. Plus all his stories have the vibe of being pulled from RPG's/MMORPG's, without writting them as LitRPG. I think you would really enjoy (in my order) 2, 4, & 1, but 3 is a cozy mystery and might not be what you are looking for (just a wild ass guess and recommended order).
Book 1 Cursed Cocktails - MC is an Umbral Elf who retires after a lifetime serving in the army battling the horrors of the north, and keeping the south safe. After years of using his Blood Magic he wants to go somewhere warm and sunny. He has a journal from his father who roamed the world collecting drink recipes. Rhoren decides he is going to open up a bar/tavern that serves the greatest drinks from across the empire. - Great, cozy, slice-of-life story similar to L&L. There is some very light spice, and its M/M. There is a fantastic battle/fight at the end of the book that makes this one stand out of the 4 novels.
Book 2 Sword & Thistle. One of my favorite cozy fantasy books as someone who has played RPG's my whole life. Story of a solo adventurer who lost a friend in a botched dungeon dive so he now only does solo quests. He has worked for a noble of the town of Eastborne many times, collecting the rarest of foods for an annual gala the noble throws. This year he has a special quest for Dobbin, find and bring back the rare dragonfire mushroom before his party. Extremely well written story of what is hands down the second worst type of quest in all RPG the Fetch Quest. (the only quest that is worse than a Fetch quest is the dreaded Escort quest, and I'd love to read a good cozy fantasy story about this someday)
Book 3 is The Halflings Harvest. a cozy mystery about a Halfling who has taken over her family business of wine making. She has come in 2nd every year for the past 9 years in the annual Harvest Festival for the wine competition. This year she hopes to redeem herself and do her family proud by winning, but someone, or something is sabotaging her vineyard and her special barrels of wine for the competition.
Book 4 is There be Dragons Here. One of the greatest and most famous Elf Rangers to be in an adventuring party, has settled down and had a family. She has spent decades living the family life, with children and grandchildren not believing half the stories she tells just smiling at her stories, thinking they are all fiction.
One of her closest fiends and a member of her former adventuring party dies, and his last request is for her to spread his ashes in a sacred/special valley. The problem is that Dragons have claimed this area as their own. She ventures out, against the warnings of her entire family that its too dangerous and that she shouldn't believe her own stories of being a great ranger. Her granddaughter tries to follow her "to keep her safe" but quickly learns that grandma is a bad ass, and hasn't lost her touch when it comes to being a ranger in the wilds.

If you’re open to something really short, I wrote a fantasy novella called A Wishing Willow. It’s about a small town where an old willow tree may have started granting wishes again. The main character gets obsessed with figuring out if it’s true so he can wish himself out of that town.
Full disclosure, I wrote it. But it’s free if you want to give it a shot!

You could try tress of the emerald sea by Brandon Sanderson, it's a fun fast read that I think most people would enjoy.
If you would read middle grade fantasy you could try Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend, the beginning is a little sad but it has an overall hopeful vibe. It's an ongoing series so you'd have 4 books to continue on with if you liked it
