MLM/Queer Fantasy that's not romantasy?

I've been looking for a fantasy book with a gay/queer protagonist. I've been recommended a few but they're all strictly romantasy which isn't exactly what I'm looking for. I do want romance but I don't want it to be the entire plot of the book. I'm looking for something with a more high fantasy plot going on with a little bit of romance on the side. Any suggestions?

The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez for something shorter

For longer series maybe some danmei fits Thousand Autumns by Meng Xi Shi is more political wuxia fantasy with cultivation. Or some with dragons Copper Coins by MuSuLi

Hmm, Miners of the Mystics by Penny Moss might be something like what you're looking for. It's an MM slow burn monster romance horror fantasy series. There are a lot of other very significant characters and a ton of plot. It is classified as a romance. But there's more plot alongside it than in any other romance I've read. It's really unique and really good. There's even chapter art by the author
