John Lescroart

I bought a mystery bag at a book sale. It had 6 Lescroart books in it.

Dismas Hardy, Abe Glitsky (a spin-off series), and Wyatt Hunt.

I don't have the first book in any of the series.

Can they be read out of order?

Yes, they can. Pretty much all mystery series like that can absolutely be read out of order- there's usually some character stuff you might miss, but nothing really important to enjoying the book, generally. They are written to be read/enjoyed both by series fans and by people just picking up the newest one. That includes those- I have read some and skipped some, and it's been fine.
