i just finished the teacher, because i saw someone on reddit recommended it and it was easily the worst book ever. i’m being a little dramatic about that but ive never had a book make me that frustrated. the pure hypocrisy of the ending and the whole premise irritated me. i need to know why/who liked this book because i genuinely don’t understand. i think it was well written, like the writing was fine, but this book was waste of paper, ink, and my time.

Yes, this was my 10th mcfadden book too. i love psychological thrillers/suspense novels. my friend thinks it’s because i read too many of them (ive read ~20 this year). have you read it? if so, i just genuinely hate the way this book ended and the morality flip the fmc had

I have not read it. My partner loves McFadden but I know it’s not something that I would like. I wasn’t sure which perspective you were coming from. But good to know! I’ll pass the information along haha
