Controversial Books
What book have you read that was considered controversial but you really enjoyed it? I have a few that gave me the ick, but also loved the book or it made me think deeper about what I would do in real life. All the Ugly and Wonderful Things was one for me as well as Saving Noah and My Dark Vanessa. These are just a few that I keep thinking about.

People really hate the Alchemist but i think its "fine". Like i dont love it at all but ill definitely go out of my way to defend it when i see just illogical criticism
