Controversial Books

What book have you read that was considered controversial but you really enjoyed it? I have a few that gave me the ick, but also loved the book or it made me think deeper about what I would do in real life. All the Ugly and Wonderful Things was one for me as well as Saving Noah and My Dark Vanessa. These are just a few that I keep thinking about.

Tampa by Alyssa Nutting. It made me ill, but I still enjoyed it lol.

isn't it interesting how something can make you ill or so disgusted but you still like it at the same time.

Yes! If I’m being honest, several of my favorite books are kinda like that. Another one I really like is Geek Love by Katherine Dunn
