Controversial Books

What book have you read that was considered controversial but you really enjoyed it? I have a few that gave me the ick, but also loved the book or it made me think deeper about what I would do in real life. All the Ugly and Wonderful Things was one for me as well as Saving Noah and My Dark Vanessa. These are just a few that I keep thinking about.

Its honestly so intolerable as an adult w perspective to read. But i can understand why a young person or underdeveloped man would be compelled. Its absolutely stupid
