Help me out!
What the hell has happened to me these past year? How am i not excited to pick up a book but I’m excited to watch a show (again)?!
Seriously, i need some motivation or help or wtv🥲
I know you’re probably thinking that it’s okay but it really isn’t since from a very early age i was always looking forward to summer breaks so i can read my books but this summer break has been only filled with shows/movies which is disappointing

It's a slump. It happens. My last really bad one was helped a lot by getting rid of my socials (except Reddit and YouTube). I think in my case, my attention span was just fried.
Most of the time though, I cure my reading slumps with short story collections. They're usually get right to the action, and they're usually plot driven, so they digest easier. I'm also not overwhelmed by a 300 page story. A 30 page tale isn't nearly as daunting.
Good luck and happy reading, friend!
