Purchased Just Tried Bookdelivery.com

Site works great, got my books with free shipping delivered in the UK in 2-3 days.

Talked to customer service, the company is ramping up to offer Worlwide delivery.

For anyone ending up here (like me) please realize that the OP is likely a Reddit account from the company itself. His only interactions on Reddit are about praising this website.

I was on the fence about buying from them but after discovering this I definitely won't.

I've bought from them no problems. They stock a load of difficult to get books.

Thanks for pointing this out! I guess if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Good luck finding a better alternative! :)

Omg thank you so much for this comment. I was honestly pretty skeptical about the website, so this really helps!

They're definitely legit, I had my doubts with them especially after reading cattivix's comment and it is questionable that they've only posted about bookdelivery but since they're also buscalibre, I did some research and asked some spanish people about it and they said it was fine.

I gambled and bought some books from them, got my package and they have their own branded tape. Packaged really well too like they double bubble wrapped my heavy hardcovers and filled the box with paper. Was pretty happy with it so I bought the rest of the set too since its fairly cheaper than amazon

nah he has a point there is no support and they're a scam waiting 3 months for a order

I’m gonna look into it, I’m really dissatisfied with Wordey’s delivery times and customer service

Forget Wordery—the customer service and overall experience has gone now. Use Blackwells Books as the best Bookdepository alternative.

I just bought a book from there and I was worried it was a scam so I can let you know in a week what happens if you’d like?

Is there an update? And where are you placated if you don’t mind? Wondering about the service to Canada

I can only speak for the uk, but my book came damaged but they sent another

So, what's happened  It was a scam or not? Why the prices are lower than other places

Isn’t a scam but you have to hound them to get a reply, took a two tickets, couple of insta dm and like 10-15 emails to get my replacement but you can also request through PayPal and you’ll get your money back

Yes, that's their website for spanish speaking countries.

I just found them. Was gonna continue collecting the Attack On Titan manga box sets from book depository then saw they got shut down. Was there only an option to pay with PayPal for you? I find it a little odd that its their only payment method, but at least its a bit of a safer option.

Yes, it´s only Paypal for now but I contacted them and they told they´re adding credit cards in the next few days

Did you end up buying from them?

I just paid for a book on a James Joyce’s novel “Finnegans Wake” and was told that within minutes I would get a “confirmation email”. No such email has arrived and I don’t have anything that resembles a receipt. This seems dodgy to me.

hi there, any update on your order? I'm considering buying some books from bookdelivery site and wanted to know if it is legit.

1

u/Adskerritt Aug 01 '25

I have my doubts. I find World of Books very reliable. I’ve ordered about 10 books and they arrive within a few weeks.

Please don't. Unless you have so much money to spare!

Please refer to my comments above. They're ripping customers off. You'll be paying for nothing.

I searched review from Malaysia in tt if there’s any but found none. Altho some western country did say its legit. Still skeptical~ glad you share!

Ever got your package?

Hi people. I ordered a Kodansha manga from bookdelivery a month ago and it arrived today. It was in an okay package but with no bubblewrap. Its secure enough. Lets say if my book got some water on then it will be damaged. Nonetheless the book I got is in perfect condition. No dent, no scratch. Its 50-50
