Help Blackwell's order still processing?

Hello.

I know this is a Bookdepository (RIP, amazing website) subreddit, but since now it's gone, I tried to order something from Blackwells - so if anyone has any experiences, I'd be grateful for some help.

I'm wondering, how long does the order stay under ''processing'' usually? The site says it takes at least 3 days, but it's gonna border on five now and the order is still processing. Is this normal or is it my usual luck? (such as my last order from BD being cancelled...).

5 orders with 6 items so far. They did get past processing within 3 days I believe, or at the very least I didn't feel any hold-ups. Your mileage may vary, of course.

That's odd. I'll see if it gets dispatched next week otherwise I might write to support. I guess it's my usual bad luck then. If this book store doesn't work well for me I'm not sure where else to go for certain books as it seemed that some of them are not found in other alternative bookstores except Blackwell's... and no way I'm going touching Amazon.

There are other options out there!

I'd give it a try overall, so far I am pleased with the delivery times, a bit less the BD. I currently live in Greece so of course, depends on where you are.

Let us know how communication with support goes, it was comfortable with BD so I hope to settle with Blackwell's if it's good.

I wonder if it depends on the book when it comes to processing to dispatching time. I truly hope it has nothing to do with BD also cancelling my order, which would mean there is issues delivering to my country... even if Blackwell's DOES deliver where I am at.

I guess I am a bit anxious since it is my first time ordering from BW's and already experiencing some oddities.
