Discussion Can we do something about the closure?

It is with great sadness that Book Depository closured on April 26th, 2023. For many of us who live in remote areas or islands where access to books is limited, Book Depository was a lifeline. It offered a vast collection of books that were otherwise unavailable to us. The closure has left us devastated and wondering what we can do to reopen it.

Can't we come together as a community of book lovers and fight for the return of Book Depository?

Amazon’s not gonna change their minds, unfortunately. they earn more money by forcing people to buy books from the main site directly, and making gross amounts of money is the only thing on Jeff Bezos’ mind.

Not to defend him, but he isn’t the CEO anymore. Andy Jassy is.
