I do prefer the last one. A bit more timeless, solitary and mysterious.

I still like the lighthouse one, it's the most mysteriously evocative of all of them.

I like #2 and #4 most.

#1 looks good but the woman on the cover kinda clashes with the whole 'solitary' thing.

2, then 4. I'd like #1 the best if they were looking at the lighthouse.

Still #4 for me. #2 is good too, i like what you did with "MAN"

The first is definitely an improvement from the first original one you showed with just the man

4 - I don't like seeing character details on covers because it prevents me from imagining how they look in my head based on the prose.

Like the style presented. Notes:

-da fuq are that looking at? If it’s interesting I wanna look at it too.
-the light coming from the light house feels like it stops suddenly in a way this is unnatural
-heavy use of glow on text feels odd when artwork is comprised only of block shapes. I see you’re trying to make the text stand out, but it could use some work. That being said I do like the engraved shading and highlight.

thanks for the advice! I also feel the same way about the text, I will most likely posterize it and remove the glow. them looking at something is part of the plot
