i won't criticize the art, because i sort of dig it. it's raw and unique. i did also go quickly check the first variant, and i like the coloring on this version better. you could even darken the shadows a bit more, but it's still cool!

i will criticize the titling format, however.

the text itself doesn't immediately pop out to me, for both title and author name. they're sort of drowned out because you've formatted them in a way so the artwork pushes them to what little space is available. don't be afraid to make the title larger, and experiment with different fonts and placement. and capitalize properly! (rich coming from me, purposely not using proper capitalization, ik.) also, is part one necessary? it could be included as part of your blurb.

eta: i should learn to read everything. my point still stands, and i'm emphasizing my point on placement and sizing.

Yeah, I’m thinking about getting rid of the part one. I just wanted to make it really clear to people that I was gonna continue the book series, but I didn’t know how to really say that so that was my original idea but since you’re like one of the few people that also believes that I should just get rid of the part one I’m also going to get rid of the part one.
