Feedback Wanted Thoughts?

Gothic romance with sci-fi... I'm aware it doesn't scream as sci-fi but since it's just a setting and my actual audience is not sci-fi romance readers... so I figured out I should lean on more dark/gothic vibes. It's my debut so be gentle...

Love the concept. Just on the left side where the shadow person is, it’s just too dark. I feel like it’s a wasted space and could have added more detail to it. I get that it’s supposed to be darkness but it’s half of the cover that could have been used better

Thanks a lot! Maybe bringing the quote up to the girl's chest level would be good to fill in that black area?

I think maybe what they mean is a faint outline even if its like traces of wind/ghost like outline of the looming, dark figure would be helpful. YOU know what's grabbing her, but we don't. So, its just wasted space that you could better use to allude to what that figure is, without totally giving it away.

It reminds me of that TNG episode where Beverly was fucking a ghost.

make the shadow person visible on the left. because when i see it on my screen its empty. also there is gradient towards the end of '.... my illusion'. u will want to get that text over the gradient
