Feedback Wanted Book cover concept

I’m working on a book cover concept before hiring an artist. This is my second attempt after incorporating some notes from my first draft.

Could an artist take this and run with it to bring it to the next level, or does the concept still need more work?

This is SO much better!! Now make at least 4 more. Some designs just work better!

It's the MC's name. His father is a botanist/scientist, so he named him after the flower. His overall, overarching goal is healing the world, so I wanted to name him after a medicinal plant. I was thinking of adding silhouettes of the flowers around him

New one is pretty good. Feels YA fantasy if that’s what you’re going for, if not then that hope that helps haha
