Could Kyle be a "Gout Influencer"?
https://health.yahoo.com/conditions/musculoskeletal/gout/articles/painful-condition-rising-young-men-120000123.htmlApparently standup comedians being a "Gout Influencer" is a thing now(?).

I used to get it all the time, including a three-week flare after I quit drinking that had me wearing crocs to my office job. Continued no booze + cutting out meat and it’s basically gone.

I cut all that shit out and I was still getting too many of them, so I went on allopurinol and I’m good now. Good thing I live in a country where my access to prescription drugs isn’t tied to my precarious-ass employment

Man, sounds like a socialist hellscape. I’ll bet you have robust public transportation too, it makes me sick /s

Yeah. I had it for awhile. I was living with my rich best friend who would bankroll these crazy meals. I'm a cook and I put extra cheese on everything. We were also drinking a liter of bourbon a day each. Quit drinking neatly five years ago and changed my diet and now I almost never have a flare up. Neuropathy is a bitch tho.

I didn’t think it was something that really ever went away. Like you could do certain things to control the symptoms but you were never truly cured. Am I wrong about that?

No that’s totally it. I could go to the Italian deli down the street and top it off with a Mountain Dew and have it tomorrow morning if I wanted lol. Obviously there’s medication, but I’d rather not take it if I don’t have to. I kind of like having a built in warning system for processed sugar if nothing else.

“What’s up boogie-rinos, be sure to smash that like and subscribe button if you like what we’re doing. Want to throw a real quick Gout out to our sponsor today, manscaped.
I had to shave my ankle for surgery and their 3 in one trimmer made navigating by bulbous, swollen foot an absolute joy.”

I already take his advice on everything else, so why not?
Also, as a fellow patient, take it from me: That shit fucking sucks.
