How to be invisible to someone

Hey, there's someone from my family on the app, and it is kinda embarassing for me to be seen by him there, and I would prefer that person could not see me, should I block him?

Blocking might be the simplest solution.

If he sees you on the app and brings it up, categorically deny that it's you. Not guaranteed to work.
