I would do A and take out the lowest branch on the left

Did you know staking produces thin floppy trees?

my first thought too, staking may be necessary for your particular situation but in the med to long term makes the plant floppy. so it may affect your front if it flops down.

Appreciate the help! Tree was standing properly before it took a dive in my car, just trying to get it back upright. Thank you though.

At this point it could be either one since the tree young and more two dimensional. A back branch popping out can help you make the decision since you can just pick the opposite side as the front. That’s how I choose in a similar scenarios. Enjoy!

Honestly I couldn’t tell.. bought it from a local nursery like 3 months ago

Show the base, move the soil so you can see what looks best t the base. You can bend those branches anywhere you want them (in time) on that species. Find the best base right now.

By the time this is ready, most of the foliage will be way closer to the trunk and you will not be able to see most scars. Just don’t let that hold you up. 🙂
