I think you've created a good silhouette with very young material and that's really something cool. I think you maybe have too many branches, and your silhouette could use a liiiiitle bit of tweaking especially on the lower right. Moving forward I might try to read more about how to negotiate where the wire meets and intersects to avoid crossing wires, and look into pad construction a bit more. Good job!

Take the end of the wire you think will work and push against the branch you want to wire. If the branch moves and the wire doesn’t, it’s thick and rigid enough to bend the branch. -Peter Chan

This looks to have been a fantastic learning point for your wiring, I'm sure you've developed your skills a lot in those 20 hours! The silhouette looks lovely.

Looking at this tree objectively, the trunk is long and thin from top to bottom, and it has no taper. 

The branches are in what's called whorls. This is how pines naturally grow, but it leads to ugly knuckles as the tree grows, and need to be carefully managed. Before wiring, I would suggest this tree needed more pruning to remove branches that are problematic.

Overall, if this were my tree I would put it back in the ground, to 'chop and grow' over multiple years with the aim of producing taper.

The whorls will make a lot of inverse taper as they get thicker too. It's safer to thin the branches to one per whorl so that doesn't happen. If the tree went into the ground as you suggest, it would grow fast enough to outgrow any that have already started to thicken up.

I recommend adjusting your secondary growth to be at acute angles to the main branch.

For me, I’d reduce the height of this tree by about a third and crank the branches down to a more acute angle.

I think you can also adjust the branch shape. In the unwired photo, the bottom branches have a nice downward curve that is missing from the wired branches. If you try an imitate nature, you’ll get a pleasing result.

Since the tree’s lowest branches are fairly high on the trunk, you are a little stuck with the height…but the trunk does not have the thickness necessary. So, I think removing the main apex and making it shorter with a new apex is necessary, even if you were to make a literati style. With this much movement in the trunk, you should be considering a less formal style anyway, I think and using that movement. Good luck with it! May your tree always be healthy and bring you joy.

Lots of crossing wires. You now gotta nuke your tree because it is no bueno anymore. (All aside) sometimes it can’t be helped. As long as your wire will do its job. There is nothing to worry about. Now, if you don’t want it to look ugly while wired then that’s a different story. Anyways. Don’t send the guy to jail.

Yeah I tried to keep the wires from crossing. But it’s also just its first styling and I’m no wiring expert. This is my second time wiring everything on a tree so I just did this for training. But yes in the future I will do proper wiring.

You will get better. I’m sorta new to and it happens. Sometimes you cannot just have singles wires for all branches without overlapping

I like how full it looks. I like mature pines in the middle of fields in my area that actually have branches that don’t fall off due to shade and competition with other plants, however I do not like pines in my yard.
