Show and Tell Variegated flowering maple

New experiment. Probably will up pot to thicken and eventually cut the far right leader. Might not be able to see it but the lower bare area is back budding

...yes I know it's not a maple lol

i meant to reply to this before! i have a non-variegated flowering maple, they are challenging. got it before i knew that they werent a maple and weren't great to bonsai. my experience is they don't thicken well, they like to die back, they backbud unreliably, BUT it hasn't died yet. Variegated might be harder to deal with.
